Postcard picturing State Mercantile Co. building, covered in snow with men on the roof cleaning it off. Postmarked 1914. Sent to a Roy Dell Snyder, of Sycamore Illinois. The message reads, "This is how the snow was taken off the roofs to prevent cave-in." It was signed "Toby."
The State Mercantile Building has the current address of 801 Main St. The building on the right of the photo was the Louisville Drugs store located at what is now 740 Main St.
